Christmas Programs

Preparing for his "Ralph Herdman" role.

Well, finally, they're done. I've seen about 6 or 7 concerts this year- and this was the year I wasn't directly responsible for ANY, so I have to laugh at the irony of that. I enjoyed accompanying the French Immersion students at Ecole West Park School this year at both of their performances, and tonight I saw Evan's school concert.

He and the other Herdman kids were big hits. Evan came home with a performance high, glad that his roles in Grade 8 Band, Jazz Band, Grade 8 Choir and the drama were done. The Jazz band was especially good, and I was proud of how well he played on his trombone- an instrument he's been working on for less than two months.

So one more day of school tomorrow and then we'll officially begin the holidays! And there was much rejoicing, "YAY!!"
